From 10am to 1pm today - Vida’s favorite employees Brian & Caitlin ready to take on all the hungry future scientists participating in Discovery Day 2018 at the High School. Chef AJ Tegler whipping up our signature dishes all day long! The day will include not only our delicious food, but a mobile/Inflatable planetarium, math themed rooms, coding club rooms - play with robots and drones, a “Quiet Room” for those just needing a break or for students who feel more comfortable with a little less excitement. There will also be for the kids science-themed books read by Haverford’s high school volunteers including new experiences, make-and-takes, and demonstrations!

Thank you Haverford High School for allowing Vida to participate in your annual “Truck or Treat” event at the school. Much fun had by all. See you all again Nov 3rd at the Discovery Day event!

Our first night of many more at Locust Lane Craft Brewery in Malvern Pa, who was hosting a Penn State Football Tailgate tonight. Vida & Locust Lane have partnered to combine their awesome array of craft brews with our culinary offerings. We are very excited about our new partners and friends, so please make it a night out Thursday through Sunday for some great beer & food at Locust Lane Brewery located at 50 Three Tun Road in Malvern, PA.

Our motto is “Vida=Life. Enjoy Life, with Us”...Well..as we all know Life sometimes throws us a curveball every once & awhile. Last night it quickly came to light during our first seating at 6pm that we had an abundance of walk-in guests, however these guests mentioned they had reservations. We quickly realized there was an issue with our online reservation system, and patrons were overbooked. We had 120 reservations all for one night that were not fully reported appropriately in total to our management by this 3rd party. Needless to say this issue, mixed with the thunderstorms that hindered outdoor seating, caused a seating issue that we are getting ahead of immediately. Some restaurants would call this a good problem, we do not. As you all know, the atmosphere is very quaint and intimate at VIDA, so we apologize for any inconvenience caused by this 3rd party error. With that being said, thanks to everyone who patiently dealt with the seating issue, and we assure you it will not happen again. We own it. Here’s a snippet of last nights fun, once we got control of the situation, and VIDA (life) was back to normal.
